April 19, 2007 proprietor of Elements of Design Karen Holmay sent out invitations to the grand opening of her little interior design and lighting retail store gift shop. With the help of her amazing team and support from her wonderful customers, they prospered in the Ormond Beach area and beyond. In January of 2024, the company added a women's clothing boutique. From timeless classics to contemporary trends, our curated collection ensures that every woman finds her perfect style expression.
In March, 2023, the company opened an second location at One Daytona in Daytona Beach offering a full line of lighting options through their lighting division, Cates Lighting.
